Do 10: Hug someone that you hate so much

This task is simple but HARD. You need to hug someone that you really hate. Can you do it?
One day, early December, someone hug my grandfather. The guy who actually hug him is one of his employee. It was a surprise but after that day, i can see that my grandfather always praising the guy.
Two weeks later, my grandfather met with the priest. My grandfather told the priest how he really mad at his neighbor. Loud noises, screaming and shouting at night. His neighbor, also a member of the church always come every Sunday pray. So, the priest told him to hug the neighbor.
Can you hug someone that you hate? It is tough. No one can do it, i guess. You can? Share your story.

It's really not easy to hug your enemy. I met many obnoxious people in my life. They hate you for no apparent reason, they dislike you if you are better or even drive a better car. I want to hate nobody and I draw a line so that these people can no longer hurt me.
ReplyDeleteIt will not be an issue if my neighbor make tons of noise but what if he punctured your tyres, scratches your cars and spread all sort of lies concerning you and your family..and mind you, they claimed to be believers.
I would go insane to even think about hugging my enemy..sorry to say that.
This is my story.
I've saw something like that few years back. Not neighbors but my own uncle and aunt (my mum cuzz), they spread lies just to win votes for BN during the Election days. The same believers, so called pelayan (bro&sis of the church) telling stories and lies. The same person who borrowed money from my dad when their son enrolled to Uni. Even their sons (with s) spread the same lies. More than one person spread the same lies, eventually ppl will believe it.
DeleteIt was a year after that, an uncle ask for forgiveness. Hes the one who did the crime. The bad uncle, they paid the money, with no interest whatsoever and no sorry. Sux? It is!
See, everybody lies. Lies to just to be excepted in the comunity. just so that people give attention to you. those are typical. religion, politics, those are only prop. people just will do anything to be acknowledged. Hye by the way, just wanna share with you guyz, i watched a movie last week, flight of the phoenix if im not mistaken. In the movie, I just wanna share a quote " Im not religious, Im spirituous. religion divides people, spiritualism doesn't".. nice. XOXO
DeleteYup. Lying already existed before Adam and Eve. But people tend to say it isn't, saying that it wasn't a lie coz being a believer, we are taught to think as a good son/daughter. "You will die if you eat the fruit.." is not a lie but a misconduct, for the sake of protecting Adam n Eve.

Hi! Well in certain circumstances, it is not that hard to "cuddle" ur enemy or that is someone you hate. See, in most spiritual or religious gathering that one used to go, well clearly when I say " one used to go" that friends were created at that place. these kind of gathering always end up with the THE ACTUAL, LITERALLY XOXOXO (hugs and kisses). So, this is the perfect time to act abit of hypocrisy and DO the DOsss.. If you get lucky, you might strighten some strings evetually...Well someone gotta to start trying... Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLol! So true (Based on my experience). Last time there was a family gathering for the big family (December 2011). We hv to pay RM100 per person. Some of us(my whole family) didnt get the chance to eat steamed fish. One of my cuz post in FB how he "cant accept that he and his family pay RM500 but the food are like 2/5 stars. Also, why did they invite the whole villagers for family reunions?" Yeah. The same kampung will have another "makan2" 2 years later, and then another 2 yrs after that so on. What about my kampung? Duh?? Something isnt right!

Lol! So true Honey. I actully did the same approach, hi and bye. But some other time, ppl offer their hands so gotta shake with em.
DeleteBut for human, "imej" (pls correct me-Image??)is much2 more important than anything. Maybe more than you own children, something like dignity. So they like to pretend that the strings are strengthened but actually they're not. They would love to keep it inside, be the "good" Samaritan bla.. bla..
